300 Year Old Cottage

The owners of this historic cottage were advised by their plumber they had a leak and a big leak at that.
Upon arrival we quickly got to work assessing the heating system and the whereabouts of the fault.

Using a combination of tracer gas and acoustic sound equipment we were confident to mark the spot.

It was in the bathroom under ceramic floor tiles. Lifting only one floor tile we were right on top of the burst.

Following the successful repair and subsequent secondary testing procedure the system was refilled and back working efficiently again.

Only one tile removed and the this nasty section of pipe removed.
